AMD – Launching Regional Social Media Pages

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. is an American multinational semiconductor company based in Santa Clara, California, that develops computer processors and related technologies for business and consumer markets.

THE CHALLENGE

AMD hasn’t had any digital presence in MENA outside of what fans and media share about the company and its products. AMD wanted to launch regional pages to reach the audience in MENA and communicate with them directly but didn’t have a budget to do any big campaigns.

THE SOLUTION

  • We knew that social media is already noisy and busy with so many accounts from brands from across the world trying to get a bigger slice of the pie, and we wanted to make the launch memorable and engaging.
  • We decided to use our contacts and connections with content creators to help us tease and hype up the launch of the pages, as well as help share it with a wide audience.
  • We also couldn’t let the hype die out immediately afterward and came up with a few engaging campaigns and content pieces that were designed to keep the audience entertained, informed, and engaged.
