GITEX 2025 Wrap-Up: Four Days. Six Clients. One Active Team.

GITEX GLOBAL — the world’s largest tech and startup show — has once again proven why it’s the most anticipated week on the Middle East tech calendar. And for Active (Digital. Marketing. Communications), it was another milestone moment.

This year, Active supported six clients across sectors from AI and cybersecurity to fintech and sustainability, delivering four full days of strategic communications, non-stop media engagements, and storytelling that cut through the noise of one of the busiest shows in the world.

From early morning huddles to late evening debriefs, the energy at the Active booth (and around every client stand we managed) was unmatched. Interviews were rolling, cameras were capturing, and the conversations were flowing — the perfect mix of planning and passion that defines how we work.


Planning Meets Performance

Preparation is everything — and this year, our groundwork paid off.
Before the show even opened its doors, Active had secured 15+ preview stories for our clients, driving awareness across regional tech media. Once the event kicked off, the momentum carried forward with 30+ earned media interviews, many of them spontaneous additions sparked by interest in the stories we helped shape.

Each day brought new opportunities — and we made sure our clients were ready for every one of them. From spokesperson briefing notes to live interview support and real-time content capture, the Active team ensured every moment translated into visibility and value.


On the Ground with Active

Every day at GITEX had its own rhythm:

  • Day One set the tone — full of energy, packed schedules, and those first exciting client interactions.
  • Day Two hit its stride — with 10 earned media interviews across six clients and strong traction from earlier coverage.
  • Day Three kept the buzz going — from spontaneous interviews to quality leads, the energy didn’t slow down.
  • Day Four closed with pride — a full-circle moment celebrating the teamwork, trust, and results that powered our GITEX journey.

And yes, we logged an average of 15,000 steps a day — proving that dedication in PR sometimes doubles as cardio!


A Week of Collaboration and Momentum

What stood out most wasn’t just the volume of coverage or the number of interviews — it was the collaboration.
Clients, journalists, partners, and our extended network came together to tell meaningful stories that matter in the region.

This year, we were also joined by Vicki Harper from WITH, one of our partner agencies in the UK, who witnessed first-hand the scale, pace, and energy of GITEX — and the strength of the tech ecosystem here in the Middle East.
